About Our Chapter

Established in 1909, our chapter, Arkansas Alpha, is located at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. We are currently located at the address of 502 West Maple Street in our "Pink Palace," being our third home throughout the years here at the U of A.

ARKANSAS ALUMNI AND THEIR LIFELONG COMMITMENT

Every year, the Arkansas Alpha chapter of Pi Beta Phi joins together with Arkansas Alum to celebrate and honor the founders of our sorority. Founder's Day includes speeches from alumnae sharing their favorite Pi Phi memories from their time as an active member, a ceremony that selects and honors current members who actively live out Pi Phi's core values within our chapter, as well and a form of entertainment and a meal. This is a special time for the woman of Pi Phi to be able to remember those that paved the way for the sisterhood we have today and communicate with our alumnae as they are able to see firsthand how Pi Phi's lifelong commitment is lived out. Pi Phi's core values are ones that each member carry as an honor to withhold, and have pledged to live out daily. Our sisterhood is a special bond that binds us together, and our involvement with alumnae that continuously exhibit the qualities and characteristics they have gained from being a member continues to remind us of the lifelong commitment we will always share with one another.
